Legal status: DesignByGade is a small business based in Denmark, currently operating without a VAT registration and without a CVR (company registration number).
At DesignByGade, all purchases and transactions are subject to Danish law. By using our website and placing an order, you agree to comply with the applicable Danish regulations regarding consumer rights, purchasing terms, and dispute resolution.
In case of any legal disputes, these will be handled in accordance with Danish legislation and, if necessary, through the relevant Danish authorities.

These terms are provided in English. If you are a Danish customer, you may request a version in Danish by contacting us.
Products and Payment
All products are made-to-order in partnership with Printful, a global print-on-demand provider. Payments are processed securely via Stripe (accepting Visa, Mastercard, etc.).
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days, except for clearly personalized products. As our items are custom-made, the right of withdrawal may be limited — see our refund policy or contact us for details.
Due to the made-to-order nature, returns are generally not accepted unless products are defective or misprinted. The 14-day withdrawal may not apply if the product is personalized or made specifically at your request (e.g., with your name printed).
VAT: DesignByGade is not VAT-registered; prices shown are final and exclusive of VAT. Depending on your location, Printful may charge VAT or customs duties directly.

Note: These times are estimates, and the actual delivery may vary depending on your location and local postal services.
Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking link via email.
In case of delayed delivery, please first check your shipping confirmation, your local post office, and possibly with your neighbors.
If the shipping address is found to be incorrect, we can send a replacement order – however, any reshipping costs will be at the customer’s expense.
Please note that we are not responsible for potential delays caused by our production and shipping partners, including Printful. Orders are also subject to Printful’s Terms and Conditions, which govern production and shipping processes. While we strive to ensure timely delivery, factors such as production delays, carrier issues, or customs processing may impact shipping times. If you experience a significant delay beyond the estimated timeframe, please contact us, and we will do our best to assist you. Any reshipments caused by incorrect customer-provided addresses will be at the customer’s own expense.
Right of Withdrawal and Returns
In accordance with Danish consumer protection law, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days after receiving the product.
However, because our products are made-to-order, they are not eligible for return unless they are defective, damaged, or incorrectly delivered.
This means that while the right of withdrawal applies, it may be limited due to the nature of the product, unless the product has been clearly customized in a way that makes it impossible to resell (e.g., with your name printed on it).
Please contact us if you are in doubt, and we will do our best to assist. For clearly personalized or custom-made products, the right of withdrawal does not apply, in accordance with section 18(4) of the Danish Consumer Contracts Act.
The exception applies if you receive a defective, misprinted, or incorrectly delivered product. In such cases, please contact us within 14 days (preferably within 7 days for urgent issues) with photos and a description of the error.
This arrangement complies with applicable international regulations and Printful’s guidelines – for customers in the EU and UK, local consumer laws may provide additional rights.
Warranty Rights
You have a 2-year warranty on our products in accordance with applicable consumer legislation.
The warranty covers production errors, but not normal wear and tear or damages resulting from improper use.
Warranty claims are handled in collaboration with Printful – please contact us with a detailed description of the issue, and we will assist you.
If you discover a defect, you must notify us within a reasonable time (typically within 2 months) after discovering the issue.
If the complaint is justified, we will cover the costs of return shipping and ensure a replacement or refund.
Data Protection
We process your personal data in accordance with the GDPR for customers in the EU and UK.
For customers outside the EU, your data is processed according to local regulations.
